Whole School Cooking Events

As well as our regular D&T lessons, making, designing and evaluating different projects, we hold importance to cooking, with each class cooking once a term and Early Years cooking every week. We have held whole school cooking competitions, whereby each class makes a dish and the guest judges sample the dish and decide a winner based on taste, texture and flavour. This was opened to parents at the end of the day, for them to also sample some of their child's class dish.

Events and Charitable Sales

As a school, we enjoy completing regular cooking activities and often link this to special events, such as decorating bear biscuits for Children in Need. The children have also held many of their own charitable fundraising events, such as stalls at our Christmas Fair.
