Before and After School Club

in The Hive

We provide childcare from 7.30am until school starts. Our After School Club is 3pm-6pm. 

In September 2022, we opened the doors to a brand new, purpose built building. Many months of hard work, planning and dedication from staff, pupils and external companies meant that we could successfully create a home from home for our children to enjoy after a busy day in school.

Although we are a Before and After School Club, we still want to provide consistency for the well-being of the children, so all staff that work in Before and After School Club also work in school.

Within the community

We are proud of our achievements since opening in September 2018 and have become an integral part of the local community, taking part in a number of events.

In September 2019, we helped "dress" Wetherby by making a 1 mile long bunting that could be seen when watching the World Para-Cycling Championship through the town.

In September 2021, Lovell Homes tasked us with creating some spooky pumpkins to add to displays around their show homes.

In February 2024, two volunteers from Wetherby in Bloom came to join us for the evening. We planted over 1000 snowdrop bulbs! We cannot wait to see them bloom in years to come.

In between all of the playing, creating, partying, crafting and laughing, the children and staff have created an environment that is just perfect for our Before and After School Club and that all of our children love spending time in.
